About Dorina and Shawn
Dorina and Shawn have been coaching running for more than 20 years.
Shawn was born and raised in Fresno, California, but has lived throughout California and spent nearly a decade in Maryland. He has run dozens of marathons and has completed 6 IRONMAN triathlons. He is a personal running and triathlon coach with a primary focus on marathon and IRONMAN athletes. He is also a sought-after announcer for local races.
Dorina started out running in grade school, running 5ks with her dad and sprinting on the soccer field. She joined the Track & Field team when she was in high school and eventually moved into running distance races like half and full marathons as well as trail races.
Today Shawn and Dorina enjoy coaching cross country and Track & Field at their daughters’ school. They wrote the devotional, Walk Run Soar, for walkers and runners who desire to experience God’s presence in a deeper way while running or walking.
Dorina is a published author and speaker. Shawn works in financial investments. Learn more about their coaching and family here. Listen to Season 1, Episode 1 for an unfolding of the story of how they met and started chasing God’s glory together as a family.
