About Mitchel
Mitchel Lee is a Maryland native and holds a BA in Linguistics from the University of Maryland, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College Graduate School. He is also a graduate of the 36th class of the Arrow Leadership Program.
Joining Grace Community Church initially as a teaching pastor in 2012, Mitchel has served as Lead Pastor since August 2016. Prior to Grace, he has served in a variety of church contexts ranging from South Korea to Chicago to Maryland. His passion is to be a bridge-builder between generations and ethnicities both in the US and internationally through leadership development and church-planting. Mitchel’s first book, Even If, was released in August 2021 with Waterbrook Multnomah.
Mitchel is husband to Sarah and a father to Calvin, Noah, Benjamin, Beatrice, and Owen.
